In Celebration of Birds

The Klamath Art Association and Gallery is hosting a themed invitational exhibit “In Celebration of Birds” from February 3 through February 24, 2019 featuring North American bird species in conjunction with the Winter Wings Festival. The gallery is issuing a call to artists, photographers, sculptors and crafts people to exhibit their creations including hand made birdhouses. The exhibit will open with an artist’s reception from Noon to 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 3rd.

The Klamath Art Gallery is located in historic Maple Park at 120 Riverside Drive, across from the Favell Museum. It is on the south end of the Link River birding trail. The gallery is open Wednesdays through Sundays from Noon to 4:00 pm. Both members and non-members of the Klamath Art Association are invited to participate, but you need to be able to deliver your work in person, and pick it up in person. Entrants have a chance to win “People’s Choice” awards in three categories based on voting by patrons visiting the exhibit during the opening reception. All work must be for sale.
