Welcome

Dear Vendor/Display Person:

We invite you to be a part of the 2009 Winter Wings Festival that will be held February 13-15, 2009, in Klamath Falls, OR. This year is the 30th anniversary of the festival and we would like it to be very special. The Festival is a celebration of the largest wintering population of Bald Eagles in the lower 48 states, other raptors and waterfowl. The Festival is a community-wide event that offers a variety of field trips, mini-sessions, workshops, and special events such as Taste of the Arts and Aerie Afternoon. This year Pete Dunne, Director of the Cape May Bird Observatory and well - known author, will be our keynote speaker on Friday February 13th.

In addition to an exciting selection of workshops and field trips, there is also an emphasis on top quality commercial vendors and artists, primarily in nature - related fields. See the entire Festival layout and vendor information at www.winterwingsfest.org in mid December.

We are offering vendor/display space at Oregon Institute of Technology College Union. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of something that is getting bigger and better each year. Attendance at the 2008 festival increased by 40%; approximately 500 people registered for the festival and an additional 750 people walked in on Friday and Saturday. Display space (no sales) is still free and is available on a first come-first serve basis in the College Union. Non-profit groups that are selling items will be charged $25 per table. Vendor sales space is $50 per table, $60 per table with electricity (limited availability) for downstairs at OIT. This year there will be no additional commission on gross sales. We are limiting the downstairs space at OIT to 45 vendors/displays on a first come-first serve basis.

We hope you will join us for this major winter event. Please complete the attached form. If you are a vendor or non-profit sales group, be sure to enclose a check to reserve your table/s space at OIT. Send the form and check (made out to KBAS--Winter Wings Festival) to:
