2018 Registration Will Open Saturday, December 16, 2017
We are launching our Regonline system on Dec. 16 at 9 am PST. You will be able to select from the array of about 60 activities and pay for them with a credit card once registration is open. Registration is required for all activities including field trips, workshops, presentations, receptions, and keynotes unless otherwise noted. You pay an initial $7 to register for one or more events unless you are a festival volunteer.
For the first time, we are offering two special field trips to Crystalwood Lodge that are on Wednesday (pre-festival) and Sunday (post-festival). They are designed to provide an overnight experience with a small group that will be able to birdwatch at night, try out snowshoeing, go birding in the North Basin, and do an optional dog sled/card ride. These field trips are being managed outside of the Regonline system in order to arrange for room sharing accommodations at the Lodge.
For more information on the entire program, see the activities under the program tab on this website.

On-Site Registration & Help Desk
If you have registered in advance, you can pick up your registration packets during Registration Desk open hours during the Festival. The Registration Desk will be in front of the fireplace on the first floor of the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) College Union. Walk-ins can register for open activities, but you should expect limited availability. This is also where you can get answers to any questions about the festival and pick up maps of the local area.
The registration desk is open at the OIT Student Union:
Thursday | 10 am – 6 pm
Friday | 8 am – 6 pm
Saturday | 8 am – 6 pm
Sunday | 8:30 am – 10 am
Thursday and Friday morning field trip participants only: If you cannot pick up your packet in advance, just meet at your first activity pick-up point and your leader will have your packet. It is important to pick up your packet to obtain a copy of your most recent schedule with updated room assignments, wristbands to allow you access into receptions you have purchased, and any premiums being given to registrants.
