- 1983: Klamath Basin NWR's- 8 years as a biological technician, wildlife biologist, maintenance worker
- 1990: Klamath Marsh NWR- 4 years as Refuge Manager
- 1994: Sheldon-Hart NWR's- Lakeview,OR-4 years Deputy Project Leader
- 1998: Northern Tallgrass Prairie NWR- Minnesota/Iowa- 4 as Project Leader
- 2001: Refuge Supervisor, Colorado/Kansas/Nebraska- 2 years
- 2003: Klamath Basin NWR- 2003 to present, Project Leader
He got a BS degree in Wildlife Management and Range Management from Humboldt State University.
He is married with two kids and lives in Klamath Falls.
