Greg Addington

Executive Director, Klamath Water Users Association

Workshop: Partnering Wetlands and Agriculture - Friday, February 16

Greg graduated in 1993 from the University of Idaho with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics and is currently in his 1st year of service with the Klamath Water Users Association.

Prior to joining the Water Users, Greg worked 9 years for the Oregon Farm Bureau. As Associate Director of Governmental Affairs in Salem, he worked on a variety of natural resource related issues. His areas of responsibility included Fish and Wildlife, Livestock, Water and Wetlands, National Affairs and Congressional Relations.

In April of 2005 he accepted the position of Executive Director of the Klamath Water Users Association. This gave Greg and his family the opportunity to come back to Southern Oregon. He is a native of Eagle Point in Southwest Oregon and has strong family ties to the Klamath Basin. Greg's great grandfather homesteaded on the shores of Lower Klamath Lake prior to the development of the Klamath Reclamation project.

Greg is an avid sports fan and also enjoys golf, hunting and fishing. His wife Monica is a stay at home mom. They have two wonderful children, Sarah Ann who is 7 and Reese Dalton who is 3 years old.
