2010 Winter Wings Festival Raffles/Silent Auction

Throughout the Festival until Saturday evening

The Klamath Basin Audubon Society (KBAS) will host two raffles during the event. Raffle tickets may be purchased in advance by mailing a check to Winter Wings Festival Raffle, PO Box 354, Klamath Falls, Oregon. Please specify the raffle that you are interested in (Roatan or general), the number of tickets you want to purchase and your contact information. Ticket requests must be received by Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Stubs will be mailed back to you.

Roatan Vacation Getaway Raffle

Want to warm up after the Festival? Then purchase raffle tickets for a week long stay on fabulous Roatan Island off the coast of Honduras. This is the third year that the Festival has received this wonderful donation from a local Klamath Falls family. The reviews from the past winners are glowing. Tickets are available for $15 apiece from the KBAS board members or by sending a check to KBAS-WWF, PO Box 354, Klamath Falls Oregon 97601. Only 200 tickets will be sold. The value of this vacation is estimated to be $1800-2000 depending on the season.

Winter Wings Festival General Raffle

Tickets for this raffle are $2 or three for $5. You have the chance to win either of the two items in a combined raffle. Stop by the Winter Wings Festival sales table to buy buy tickets during the Friday and Saturday vendor hours or mail a check in advance (see above).

Custom Bird Mural by Hakatai Enterprises, Inc. of Ashland. This 14 x 20 inch glass tile mural was developed using using a photo taken by local Klamath Falls photographer Jack Noller. Marshall Malden of Ashland donated this special piece to the Winter Wings Festival. More information about ordering custom murals is available on the Hakatai Enterprises website.

Silent Auction

Some special items will also be available for a silent auction. One item is a maple chair offered by Dean Tibbits and another is a table-top fountain offered by Fountains and Waterscapes. Stop by the WWF sales table to see and bid on the silent auction items.

The Roatan Vacatation Getaway, general festival raffle and silent auction will close Saturday night during the keynote banquet. The winner of the Roatan Vacation Getaway and WWF General Raffle will be announced at the keynote presentation on Saturday night. The other winners will be posted and attendees can pick up their items after the keynote speech. Winners need not be present to win. Proceeds of both raffles and the silent auction will benefit KBAS educational outreach.
