"In Celebration of Birds" is a juried exhibition that will be on display for the month of February at the Klamath Art Gallery, 120 Riverside Drive, in conjunction with the Winter Wings Festival in Klamath Falls.� The opening reception for the exhibition will be Sunday, February 4 from noon to 4 p.m., and the show will be open to the public from the opening on Feb. 4 through Monday, Feb. 25.
The exhibition will also be open from 5 to 8 p.m. for a special Winter Wings Festival Third Thursday event on February 15. Regular viewing hours at the gallery are Thursdays through Mondays from noon to 4 p.m.
All artists who work with images of birds are invited to enter the exhibition, and awards will be presented for best of show, first through honorable mentions, and people's choice.
Artists need not be members of the Klamath Art Association in order to submit work. Any medium is welcome, up to a 24 by 36 inch image size, and each artist may submit three pieces.
