For the last four years, we’ve partnered with the Klamath Bird Observatory to contribute the bird sightings from festival field trips to the regional portal for eBird. In this way, we make our data available to the wider world of birders, as well as scientists engaged in bird conservation efforts.

In 2012 and 2013, the Klamath Bird Observatory hosted an eBird booth where checklists were continually submitted and the latest festival data were displayed. At the booth, festival participants were also able to create their own accounts and receive one-on-one eBird training. If you’re not an eBirder, get started!
