Bruce Webb, Field Technician for Swarovski Optik has been demonstrating techniques on how to use binoculars and spotting scopes for the past six years. Together we will take the mystery out of chosing the right pair of binoculars or a spotting scope to fit your budget. Bruce travels throughout the western states and gives presentations on using birding software and digiscoping - the marriage of a spotting scope and a digital camera to document wildlife sightings. He has been one of California's avid birders since the 1970s and leads field trips throughout the Sierra Nevada and Mexico, and his specialty is owls.
