Lindsey Lyons

Lindsey Lyons has been working in natural resource and youth education for nearly 10 years. Her master's research focused on the Devils Hole pupfish, an endangered species of Southern Nevada endemic to a single cavern. She believes that productive ecosystem improvements will only come with the support of local communities, and she now works to build these partnerships throughout the Klamath Basin. Lindsey serves as the Watershed and Natural Resource Educator for the Oregon State University Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center. This position allows Lindsey to work on diverse projects such as watershed assessment outreach in the Upper Klamath Basin, natural resource programs for youth and educators in local schools, and community outreach for conferences, meetings, and events such as International Migratory Bird Day.
