This is a companion session to Saturday's workshop Intermediate Raptor Identification and Conservation

Spend a day with Bill Clark, co-author of "Hawks of North America" in the Peterson Field Guides series and "A Photographic Guide to North American Raptors" from Princeton University Press. Bill will begin the day with a presentation on the fine points of eagle identification and ageing, and then take a small group of enthusiasts to the Swan Lake and Yonna Valleys to find a variety of raptors. Based on recent surveys, this area has proven to be a winter raptor hotspot. You'll have the chance to hone your raptor identification skills with one-on-one assistance from one of America's foremost raptor experts. Limited to 10 participants.
