Digiscoping is a technique for taking photographs with a digital camera attached to a spotting scope. The technique has become immensely popular among birders as a simple, portable alternative to more expensive cameras and lenses. Optics pro Bruce Webb (Swarovski Optik representative) will explain the basics you need to get started with digiscoping, including important camera/scope features and adapters. Participants can bring their own cameras and spotting scopes to experiment with, and Bruce will provide a couple of systems to demonstrate.
