Storyteller and author Susan Strauss uses her mythic/traditional storytelling style to weave together myths, folktales, and true life anecdotes in showing how the mythical and biological aspects of animals are related. Performance may feature stories including: "Rose Red and the Winter Bear" (German), "Wolf Chases the Sun and the Moon" (Norse), "Five Sparrows" (Japan), "Deer's Winter Crown" (Swedish), "Frog Creates Day and Night" (Nez Perce), "Brer Snake" (African American), or others. Susan will be available to sell and sign books and CDs in the auditorium lobby following this presentation.
