Eagle Quest [NEW]

Bill Clark is an author, lecturer, and photographer with over 45 years of experience working with birds of prey, including 5 years as the Director of the National Wildlife Federation Raptor Information Center. Bill has traveled extensively throughout the world studying, observing, photographing, and teaching about raptors. He has coauthored field guides for raptors in both North America and Europe and conducts ongoing research on various raptor species. In this presentation, Bill recounts his adventures with the world's eagles. He begins by explaining what makes an eagle an eagle and relating personal experiences with the two North American species: the Bald Eagle and the Golden Eagle. Bill then shares some of his adventures with eagles across the globe, taking us to India, Israel, Japan, Africa, South America, the Philippines, Australia, Madagascar, and most recently, Indonesia. Along the way we'll also hear about some recent changes in eagle taxonomy.
Exploring Wildlife and Nature Photography [NEW]

Join Canon Explorer of Light™, Rick Sammon, for a presentation filled with stunning images from his photographs taken all over the world. In this informative and fun-filled presentation, Rick will share some of his favorite wildlife and nature pictures from Bosque Del Apache (New Mexico), Africa, the Arctic, Antarctica, Namibia, and the Galapagos. Rick will reveal a photography tip with each slide and he'll also share some of his favorite Photoshop techniques that he uses on his images. Rick has published 34 books, including his latest "Rick Sammon's Digital Photography Secrets," and has been nominated for the Photoshop Hall of Fame.
