Be the first to experience our newest birding adventure - owling at the Klamath Marsh Refuge. We'll join Kevin Spencer, Damian Fagan, and Faye Weekley for an overnight trip to an important bird area in a remote area about 60 miles north of Klamath Falls. The target species will be the Great Gray Owl, but no promises, of course. You'll overnight in the USFWS bunkhouse which has several 2-3 person bunk rooms. We'll provide the guides, transportation, dinner, and breakfast. You bring a great attitude and your birding by ear skills for an evening in search of the Klamath Marsh Refuge resident owl species. Damian will share his presentation on Oregon Owls. Bring a sleeping bag if possible and attire suitable for exploring in the snow. This trip promises to be a hoot!
