Tips for Registering

The 2020 program schedule will be available under the program tab around mid-November. We suggest that you review the the website version, our registration guide, activity descriptions and graphical schedule at a glance when they are posted. You may want to print some or all of them for easy reference. Check off the activities that you want to sign up for on your printed registration guide and have it available for reference. Cross-check your preferred activities against the graphical schedule to make sure that none overlap. Have alternates in mind in case your preferred activities are closed.

Online Registration is Closed

Onsite registration begins on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 at 9 am at Oregon Tech

Our onsite registration desk will be open the following hours at the OIT College Union —

Thursday, Feb. 13th:                9 am – 6 pm
Friday, Feb. 14th:                     8 am – 6 pm
Saturday, Feb. 15th:                8 am – 6 pm

During the registration hours you may pick up your registration packets. Your registration packets contain your schedules, merchandise ordered online, meal and keynote wristbands if purchased and some freebies. Unlike in past years, packets will not be delivered to your first activity site.

The registration desk volunteers will have information on activities that have openings and will be able to process registrations with cash or credit card. It is good to check for openings in activities that you were unable to get with our online system since cancellations do occur.

Cancellation Policy

The Winter Wings Festival reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason. If we cancel an event because a key leader/presenter is unable to participate, you will receive a full refund for that event. If we cancel an event due to weather-related conditions, no refund will be issued. If an attendee cancels a registration to any event for any reason, the following policy will apply:

  • Cancellations made prior to January 31, 2020 will result in a full refund of fees paid less a $10 processing fee
  • Cancellations made on or after February 1, 2020 for weather-related conditions, other reasons, or for no-shows will not be refunded

If the Festival is required to cancel an event due to weather or other circumstances and no refund is given, then the amount paid for the event can be considered to be a charitable contribution and a receipt for a tax donation will be provided. If an individual cancels after the date that entitles them to a refund but prior to an event, the amount paid can be considered to be a contribution to the Klamath Basin Audubon Society.  A tax donation letter may be provided upon request after review by the Registrar.
