Photography Contest

CONTEST RULES

Photographers who receive more than 50% of their income from photo sales are considered professionals and are not eligible. Only prints are acceptable.

Divisions:
Adults (18 and over)
Teen (ages 13 - 17) Note: Teens may participate as an adult, but not in both divisions.
Youth (ages 5 - 12)

Categories:
1) Eagles; 2) Birds; 3) Other Wildlife; or 4) Nature Scenes Photos must be of live birds or wildlife or actual scenery and taken by the entrant.

Number of Entries:
Limit two photos per category and no more than four (4) total entries per person.

Preparation of Entries:

Deadline:
Entries will be accepted from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2010 or from 7:30 am to 9:00 am on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the photo table on the 2nd floor of the Oregon Institute of Technology (OIT) College Union at 3201 Campus Drive, Klamath Falls, OR 97601.

JUDGING
Judging of entries will occur Saturday morning after 9:00 am.
Judges will be looking for relevance, composition, creativity, technical quality, and overall impression.
The Photo Contest Director will invite judges to select the winners in each category.
Judges' results are final. The Photo Contest Director will interpret the rules and may disqualify any entry at anytime at his/her discretion for violations of the rules.

PRIZES

DISPLAY OF ENTRIES
Photos will be displayed from 3 pm Friday Feb. 12, 2010 through Sunday morning of Feb. 14, 2010 at the OIT College Union.

PICK UP OF ENTRIES
You may pick up your entry at the photo table after the banquet Saturday evening Feb. 13, 2010 (approximately 7:30 pm) or between 8 am - 10:00 am on Sunday Feb. 14, 2010, unless otherwise arranged. Entries not picked up by 10 am Sunday can be claimed at Leo's Camera, 437 Main St., Klamath Falls weekdays and Saturday between 10 am - 5 pm. Photographs not claimed within a reasonable time as determined by Leo's Camera will be destroyed.
